Modern technology can be wonderful. But does it really solve all of our problems? In my perusal of Google Video I came across this video of the Asahi beer-pouring robot. A grand idea if you’re going to hit start, take a shower, cook dinner, watch your favorite program, then come back for your beer. Not so grand if you’re in a rush.
In contrast is this contraption. Reminiscent of Wile E. Coyote, this thoughtfully crafted device takes just minutes to pour your beer. Once you take the 4 man hours to set it up, this baby works like a charm… if you don’t mind it’s presence in your kitchen… and dining room, and probably part of your living room.

Nothing is worse than realizing you need an opener and none is to be found. Whoda thunk to use a simple piece of paper to open a bottle of beer? I dated a guy that could open a bottle with his teeth, but I’m not about to risk these pearly whites. Try this paper technique next time you’re in need!
